The Apacs Vanguard 11 Next Gen is a head-heavy 4U racket built for attacking intermediate players. It pairs a slim shaft with Apacs' signature high tension ceiling, so it hits heavy on the smash while staying quick enough for flat exchanges.

Quick answer

A 4U head-heavy graphite racket with a slim 6.4 mm shaft, strung up to 38 lbs. Best for aggressive intermediate players who want smash power on a budget. Genuine Apacs stock.

Who it's for

  • Attacking intermediate players who want smash power without paying flagship prices.
  • Players who like to string tight. The 38 lbs ceiling is well above most rackets in this range.
  • Singles and rear-court players who win points hitting downward.

Who should skip it

  • If you want a head-light speed racket for fast defensive doubles and net play, this head-heavy frame will feel slower to whip.
  • Complete beginners. A head-heavy 4U rewards a developed overhead swing.
  • Players who want a stiff shaft. This one has some flex, so it feels softer than a stiff-shaft racket at the same tension.

Good to know

Apacs rackets are known for taking higher string tension than most brands at the price. Even so, tension is a personal choice. We string in-house to a safe maximum in transit; if you want it near the 38 lbs ceiling, we recommend stringing locally after delivery. Yonex BG65 or an Apacs string around 26 to 28 lbs is a sensible starting point for most players.

FAQ

Is the Apacs Vanguard 11 Next Gen head-heavy or head-light?
Head-heavy, which gives it an attacking bias on smashes and clears.

What tension can the Vanguard 11 Next Gen take?
Up to 38 lbs, higher than most rackets in its price range. String to your own comfort level.

Is it good for beginners?
It suits attacking intermediate players best. Beginners usually do better with an even-balance or head-light racket first.

Is this genuine Apacs stock?
Yes. SportsUncle sells authentic Apacs products only.

If you order the Grip, then it will be shipped separately in a corrugated box. The grip will not be applied over the racket to avoid the removal of Barcode/MRP and other useful information. This also helps in understanding that the product is new and unused. Grip color will be assorted/Random, no specific color will be provided.

If you select Custom Stringing, the racket will be strung with the selected string at a maximum of 26 lbs (if the racket supports), otherwise at the maximum tension the racket supports. We don't provide the facility to string more than 26 lbs to avoid transit shock damage.

If you are looking for higher tension, then we suggest that you string it at your end.

There is NO Warranty/Replacement of the strings that break during play, whether that's your first shot or 10th game.

** Custom Stringing Rackets require 2 days extra time for shipping, and such orders can't be cancelled once placed.
