Hundred Hypercourt Adapt: professional non-marking badminton shoes with dial closure

The Hundred Hypercourt Adapt is a professional badminton shoe with a dual dial closure instead of laces, a Flyknit mesh upper, and a non-marking rubber outsole. It weighs about 330 g and is made in India, built for players who want a locked-in fit through fast lunges, sudden stops and lateral pushes.

Laces loosen and press unevenly across the foot. The Hypercourt Adapt replaces them with dials, so the fit stays the same from the first rally to the last.

How the dial closure works

Turn the dial to tighten a thin cable that runs across the upper. Tension spreads evenly over the whole foot instead of bunching at lace points. Release the dial to loosen the shoe and slip it off in seconds.

  • Even pressure: no tight spots over the instep and no loose zones near the toes.
  • Small adjustments: each turn changes the fit a little, so you can set it exactly right for your foot.
  • Stays put: the fit does not loosen mid-match the way laces can, so there is no stopping to retie.
  • Two dials: you can set the forefoot and the upper part of the shoe separately.

Key features

  • Locked-in fit: Hundred built the Adapt to hold the foot in place, with no internal slip on direction changes, sudden stops and lateral pushes.
  • Flyknit mesh upper: a knitted upper that flexes with the foot and lets air through, which helps in warm indoor halls.
  • Non-marking rubber outsole: grips indoor courts without leaving black marks, so it is allowed on wooden and synthetic courts.
  • Made in India: manufactured by Sunlight Sports Global in India.

Who should buy the Hundred Hypercourt Adapt?

  • Intermediate to advanced players who move hard and want a fit that never shifts
  • Players who keep stopping to retie laces during long sessions
  • Players who struggle to get laces evenly tight, such as those with a high instep
  • Anyone who wants a professional-level Hundred shoe for both singles and doubles

Who should skip it

  • Players chasing the lightest shoe: at about 330 g, it is not built to be featherweight. Pure speed players who want the lightest feel may prefer a lighter model.
  • Beginners on a tight budget: a club-level Hundred shoe covers the basics for occasional play at a much lower price.
  • Players who prefer laces: if you like retuning tension at each eyelet, a laced shoe gives you that control.

Size and fit guide

  • Measure your foot from heel to the tip of the longest toe, standing against a wall. Use the longer foot.
  • Match the length to Hundred's size chart (UK 4 to 12).
  • If you fall between two sizes, choose the larger one. The dial will take up the extra volume.
  • Wear your usual badminton socks when you try them on.

Care tips

  • Wear them only on indoor courts. Outdoor use wears down the non-marking sole and reduces grip.
  • Wipe dust off the outsole before play to keep traction high.
  • Release the dials fully before taking the shoes off, so the cable is not under strain.
  • Air-dry away from direct sun and heaters.

Hundred Hypercourt Adapt FAQs

Are the Hundred Hypercourt Adapt shoes non-marking?

Yes. The Hundred Hypercourt Adapt has a non-marking rubber outsole, so it will not leave black marks on wooden, synthetic or PU badminton courts. Most indoor courts in India require non-marking shoes.

What are non-marking shoes?

Non-marking shoes have rubber soles that don't leave scuff marks on indoor floors. They grip polished courts well and protect the surface, which is why badminton, squash and table tennis halls usually make them mandatory.

How does the dial closure on the Hypercourt Adapt work?

Turn the dial to tighten a cable that pulls the upper evenly around your foot, and release it to loosen. The Hypercourt Adapt uses two dials, so you can adjust the fit in small steps without laces.

Is the Hundred Hypercourt Adapt for men or women?

The Hypercourt Adapt is a unisex badminton shoe, available in UK sizes 4 to 12. Women usually pick their regular UK size, or one size down if their foot is narrow, and fine-tune the fit with the dials.

How much does the Hundred Hypercourt Adapt weigh?

Hundred lists the Hypercourt Adapt at about 330 g. That puts it in the mid-weight range for professional badminton shoes, trading a little lightness for structure and support.

What is the difference between the Hypercourt and the Hypercourt Adapt?

The standard Hundred Hypercourt is a lace-up shoe. The Hypercourt Adapt replaces the laces with a dual dial closure and uses a Flyknit mesh upper, focused on a locked-in fit that does not loosen during play.

Can I use the Hypercourt Adapt for squash or pickleball?

Yes, on indoor courts. The non-marking rubber outsole works on squash, table tennis and indoor pickleball courts. Avoid outdoor surfaces, which wear the sole down quickly.

To measure your foot, place a blank piece of paper larger than your foot on the floor against the wall. Tape the paper down to the floor. Stand on the paper with your heel slightly touching the wall. Then use a pen to draw a straight line touching the outermost point of your toe.

Use your ruler or measuring tape to measure the length from the bottom of the paper to the top line that you drew.

This number is your actual foot measurement, you can add 1-2 cm and convert them to the appropriate size.
