JOOLA Pro V series

Pro V is JOOLA's top-end range, the same build its sponsored pros use on tour. Every Pro V paddle has a textured carbon face for spin, plus KineticFrame, Propulsion Core and Hyperfoam Edge Wall technology for power, stability and a larger sweet spot.

• Perseus Pro V 16mm: Ben Johns' signature paddle, elongated with a centred sweet spot
• Hyperion Pro V 16mm: Ben Johns' aero-curved paddle for hand speed and spin
• Agassi Pro V 16mm: developed with Andre Agassi, a natural fit for tennis players
• Kosmos Pro V 16mm: Federico Staksrud's hybrid paddle for all-court play

Best for: intermediate to advanced players with consistent strokes. Trade-off: JOOLA's most expensive line, and more than most newer players need.

JOOLA Power FX

Power FX is JOOLA's first full-foam paddle. An EPP foam core with an extended Propulsion Core gives easy power and a bigger sweet spot. We stock the Perseus Power FX 16mm in Daydream.

Best for: players who want more pace from a normal swing. Trade-off: a power paddle, so touch players may prefer Pro V, and foam core durability is still being proven across the industry.

JOOLA Vision series

The Vision series brings the Perseus shape to a much lower price. Both models add JOOLA's SK Film to reduce vibration and a thermoformed frame for stability, and both are USA Pickleball certified.

• Perseus Double Vision 16mm: aramid carbon face for a soft, cushioned feel and long life
• Perseus Heat Vision 16mm: textured carbon face for spin, JOOLA's most affordable carbon Perseus

Best for: club players moving up from a fibreglass or basic paddle. Trade-off: less power and spin than Pro V.

JOOLA paddle shapes explained

JOOLA names its paddles by shape. Pick the shape first, then the series.

• Perseus: elongated with rounded top corners. Extra reach with a centred sweet spot. Available in Pro V, Power FX and Vision.
• Hyperion: elongated with an aerodynamic curved head. Faster through the air for quick hands at the net.
• Agassi: elongated with a tapered throat and a sweet spot pushed high and wide, like a tennis racket.
• Kosmos: a hybrid, slightly shorter and wider than elongated paddles. More forgiving, with faster transitions.
• Scorpeus: JOOLA's standard wide shape and its most forgiving. Not currently in our range.

14mm or 16mm: which thickness to choose

• 16mm: softer feel, bigger sweet spot and more control. The safer choice for most players, especially in doubles.
• 14mm: lighter, with more pop and power, but less forgiving on off-centre hits.

All our JOOLA paddles are elongated or hybrid, so if you are trying the sport for the very first time, a budget paddle like the Superjockk Ruby 3K is a lower-cost way to start.

What is the difference between JOOLA Pro V and Vision paddles?

Pro V is JOOLA's tour-level series, with a textured carbon face and technology for extra power, spin and stability. Vision is the value series, with simpler construction and SK Film for comfort. Vision paddles cost much less. Pro V paddles give more performance to experienced players.

What is the JOOLA Power FX?

Power FX is JOOLA's first foam-core paddle. It generates more power with less effort than JOOLA's honeycomb-core paddles and has a larger sweet spot. It suits players who want free pace rather than maximum touch.

Are JOOLA paddles approved for tournaments?

The Double Vision and Heat Vision are certified by USA Pickleball under the PBCoR 0.43 standard. Pro V paddles are made to USA Pickleball and UPA-A standards. Check the approval marking on the paddle face if you are buying for a sanctioned event.

Is a pickleball paddle the same as a pickleball racket?

Yes. In India many players call it a pickleball racket, but the official term is paddle. Pickleball paddles have a solid face with no strings.
