Who It Is For
- Intermediate players who play attacking singles or rear-court doubles.
- Players upgrading from an Atomic X or entry-level racket.
- Club players who want Nitrix-series tech without flagship pricing.
Who It Is Not For
- Beginners — the head-heavy balance demands swing technique.
- Defensive doubles players — the BladeX or Hyfonic series suits better.
- High-tension specialists stringing above 32 lbs.
Why Choose the Nitrix Thunder
- Curve² + Torsion Stop System keep smashes accurate even on off-centre hits.
- 7.0mm flexible shaft is more forgiving than stiff pro-level shafts.
- Lighter frame than typical head-heavy rackets — faster swings, less fatigue.
Where It Sits in the Hundred Range
- Atomic X: Entry-level, simpler construction.
- Nitrix Thunder: Intermediate Nitrix-series build.
- Nitrix Pro: Pro-level M46X carbon construction.
- Nitrix 70 Venom / Volta: Flagship Pro Series.
Choosing Between the Two Colourways
Both colourways share identical specs — frame, shaft, balance, weight, and tension are the same. The choice is purely visual.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Nitrix Thunder 4U good for intermediate players?
Yes. The flexible shaft and Curve² sweet spot make it forgiving, while the head-heavy balance still rewards attacking play.
What is the maximum string tension on the Nitrix Thunder 4U?
The maximum recommended tension is 32 lbs. Most players string it between 24 and 28 lbs.
Are the two Nitrix Thunder colourways different in performance?
No. Both colourways share the same frame, shaft, weight, and balance. The difference is purely cosmetic.
Is the Nitrix Thunder head-heavy or even-balanced?
It is head-heavy, designed to add momentum to smashes and rear-court drives.
What is the difference between the Nitrix Thunder and Nitrix Pro?
The Nitrix Pro uses M46X Japanese carbon, AECG+, and T-Fuse Core for pro-level construction. The Thunder is the intermediate version with Graphite Lab Build and Torsion Stop System at a lower price.
Can beginners use the Nitrix Thunder 4U?
It is not the best beginner choice. The head-heavy balance suits players who already have basic swing technique. Beginners should look at the Atomic X range first.

If you order the Grip, then it will be shipped separately in a corrugated box. The grip will not be applied over the racket to avoid the removal of Barcode/MRP and other useful information. This also helps in understanding that the product is new and unused. Grip color will be assorted/Random, no specific color will be provided.
If you select Custom Stringing, the racket will be strung with the selected string at a maximum of 26 lbs (if the racket supports), otherwise at the maximum tension the racket supports. We don't provide the facility to string more than 26 lbs to avoid transit shock damage.
If you are looking for higher tension, then we suggest that you string it at your end.
There is NO Warranty/Replacement of the strings that break during play, whether that's your first shot or 10th game.
** Custom Stringing Rackets require 2 days extra time for shipping, and such orders can't be cancelled once placed.
