The Yonex Arcsaber 11 Play is an even-balance 4U racket built around control. The frame flexes at the point of impact to hold the shuttle on the string bed a fraction longer, which gives a cleaner, more predictable feel on drops, defence and placement. Arcsaber 11 Play racquet is one of the most popular control rackets for intermediate players in India who want accuracy without giving up swing speed.

Quick answer

An even-balance 4U (~83 g) control racket with a medium-flex graphite shaft and isometric head, strung and ready to play. Best for intermediate players who value control and placement, and it works well in both singles and doubles. If you want raw smash power, a head-heavy racket suits better.

Who it's for

  • Intermediate players who win points with control, placement and clean defence rather than power.
  • Singles and doubles players who want one versatile, easy-to-handle racket.
  • Players moving up from a beginner racket who want a genuine Yonex control frame.

Who should skip it

  • Players chasing maximum smash power. A head-heavy racket like the Astrox line gives more punch on the smash.
  • Advanced players wanting a stiff, demanding shaft. The Play is medium flex and more forgiving than the Arcsaber 11 Pro or Tour.

The Yonex technology, in plain terms

Even balance and control feel: the frame flexes on impact to hold the shuttle slightly longer, which improves accuracy on placement shots.

CS Carbon Nanotubes: added at the sides of the frame to improve elasticity, which extends the shuttle hold for better control.

Box Frame: a stiffer frame profile that gives a stable, solid feel at contact.

Control-Assist Bumper with T-Anchor: micro tetrapods at the top lock the vertical strings in place for more consistent accuracy.

Isometric head: squares off the head to widen the sweet spot, so off-centre hits stay playable.

Arcsaber 11 Play vs Astrox 77 Play

This is the most common comparison, and the difference is balance. The Arcsaber 11 Play is even-balance and control-focused, with a faster, easier swing. The Astrox 77 Play is head-heavy and power-focused, so it hits heavier on the smash but feels a little slower to move. If you play a control and placement game, or a lot of doubles, choose the Arcsaber 11 Play. If you build points around the smash, choose the Astrox 77 Play. Want a stiffer, more advanced version of this same control feel? Step up to the Arcsaber 11 Pro.

Stringing

The 4U frame supports up to 28 lbs. Most intermediate players do well at 22 to 24 lbs for a bigger sweet spot and repulsion; go higher for a flatter, more controlled response. We string in-house to a safe maximum of 26 lbs to protect the frame in transit. String and grip options are available above.

If you order the Grip, then it will be shipped separately in a corrugated box. The grip will not be applied over the racket to avoid the removal of Barcode/MRP and other useful information. This also helps in understanding that the product is new and unused. Grip color will be assorted/Random, no specific color will be provided.

If you select Custom Stringing, the racket will be strung with the selected string at a maximum of 26 lbs (if the racket supports), otherwise at the maximum tension the racket supports. We don't provide the facility to string more than 26 lbs to avoid transit shock damage.

If you are looking for higher tension, then we suggest that you string it at your end.

There is NO Warranty/Replacement of the strings that break during play, whether that's your first shot or 10th game.

** Custom Stringing Rackets require 2 days extra time for shipping, and such orders can't be cancelled once placed.
