The Ultimate Power Racket for Intermediate Attackers

The Yonex Astrox 99 Game 3rd Gen is a head-heavy, medium-flex badminton racket designed specifically for intermediate to advanced players who crave explosive power without the demanding stiffness of a professional racket.

Engineered with 2G-NANOMESH NEO and the signature Rotational Generator System, it allows for steeper smashes and faster recovery times. Manufactured in Taiwan, this racket offers near-pro performance at a fraction of the cost, making it the top choice for aggressive singles and doubles players in India.

Why Choose the Astrox 99 Game (3rd Gen)?

Endorsed by the design philosophy of world champion Kento Momota, the Astrox 99 Game is built to dominate the rear court. Here is why it is a bestseller on SportsUncle:

  • Explosive "Snap-Back" Power: Unlike the stiffer Pro version, the "Game" model features a Medium Flex shaft tailored for intermediate swing speeds. The 2G-NANOMESH NEO material ensures the shaft flexes and snaps back rapidly, adding extra punch to your smashes even if you don't have professional wrist strength.
  • Rotational Generator System: By applying the counterbalance theory, weight is distributed across the grip end, frame top, and the joint. This allows the racket to feel head-heavy for smashes but transitions smoothly and quickly for defense and drives.
  • Power-Assist Bumper: A tungsten-infused nylon bumper attached to the top of the frame concentrates weight for heavier, more devastating smashes while reducing air resistance.
  • Forgiving Sweet Spot: The modified Isometric head shape enlarges the sweet spot, providing consistent power and control even on off-centre hits.
  • 100% Genuine Guarantee: At SportsUncle, we guarantee authenticity. Every racket comes with a Yonex hologram.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Astrox 99 Pro and Astrox 99 Game?

The Astrox 99 Pro is made in Japan, features a stiff shaft, and is designed for professionals. The Astrox 99 Game is made in Taiwan with a medium flex shaft and Nanomesh Neo, making it easier for intermediate players to generate power.

Is the Astrox 99 Game 3rd Gen good for smashing?

Yes, absolutely. It is widely considered one of the best smashing rackets in its price range due to its Head Heavy balance and Power-Assist Bumper, which adds weight to the head for steeper, heavier shots.

Which color is the "3rd Gen" Astrox 99 Game?

The 3rd Generation line includes the newer Black/Green colorways and feature the same upgraded Volume Cut Resin technology and Rotational Generator System compared to older Sunshine Orange models.

If you order the Grip, then it will be shipped separately in a corrugated box. The grip will not be applied over the racket to avoid the removal of Barcode/MRP and other useful information. This also helps in understanding that the product is new and unused. Grip color will be assorted/Random, no specific color will be provided.

If you select Custom Stringing, the racket will be strung with the selected string at a maximum of 26 lbs (if the racket supports), otherwise at the maximum tension the racket supports. We don't provide the facility to string more than 26 lbs to avoid transit shock damage.

If you are looking for higher tension, then we suggest that you string it at your end.

There is NO Warranty/Replacement of the strings that break during play, whether that's your first shot or 10th game.

** Custom Stringing Rackets require 2 days extra time for shipping, and such orders can't be cancelled once placed.
