Why change your insole
- The stock insole in most badminton shoes is thin and flattens within months
- Lunges and jumps put repeated load on the heel and forefoot
- A fresh insole brings back cushioning without buying new shoes
- The arch support helps your foot sit steady during side-to-side movement
Who it suits
- Club players whose shoe insole has gone flat
- Players who feel heel or forefoot soreness after long sessions
- Anyone who sweats a lot and wants a quicker-drying insole
- Indoor sports with fast footwork: badminton, squash, table tennis, volleyball
Who should skip it
- Players with a prescribed orthotic. Keep using what your doctor or physio gave you.
- Anyone who wants a stiff carbon plate for push-off. See the Superjockk carbon insoles instead.
- Shoes that already fit very tight. A thicker insole will make them tighter.
How to fit it
- Take out the old insole from your shoe.
- Place it on top of the Li-Ning insole to compare length and shape.
- Slide the new insole in, heel end first, and press it flat.
- Lace up and walk a few steps. Your toes should not touch the front of the shoe.
Care tips
- Take the insoles out after play so the shoe and insole dry faster
- Wipe or hand wash with mild soap and cold water
- Air dry in shade. Avoid direct heat, which can warp EVA foam.
- Wear proper sports socks for the best grip on the top surface
Other insoles we stock
- Hundred Soft Glide insole
- Hundred Steady Soft Pro insoles
- Superjockk sports insoles
- Full range in foot care
FAQs
What is the Li-Ning Supersport Insole 2.0 made of?
EVA foam for cushioning, a quick-dry top layer with pre-cut ventilation holes, and an anti-slip base.
Is the Li-Ning insole good for badminton shoes?
Yes. It is built for court shoes, with arch support for side-to-side movement and an anti-slip base that keeps it in place during lunges.
Which size should I buy?
Buy the same UK size as your badminton shoes. It comes in UK 5, 6, 6.5, 7, 7.5, 8, 8.5, 9, 9.5, 10 and 11.
Is it one insole or a pair?
One pack is one pair, for both shoes.
What is the Li-Ning insole price in India?
The MRP is ₹790. Check the price at the top of this page for today's offer.
Does it help with flat feet?
The shaped arch gives more support than a flat stock insole. It is not a medical orthotic, so if you have foot pain, see a physio. Read our guide on badminton for flat-footed players.
Can I use it in running or walking shoes?
Yes, if the shoe has a removable insole and room for it. It is designed mainly for indoor court shoes.
When should I replace my insole?
When the foam looks flattened at the heel or forefoot, or the shoe feels harder than it used to.
Is this a genuine Li-Ning product?
Yes. SportsUncle is an authorised Li-Ning retailer and has supplied genuine badminton gear to beginners and professionals across India since 2016.
What is the difference between Li-Ning Supersport Insole 2.0 and the original Supersport insole?
The 2.0 (AXZS002) uses EVA foam with an anti-slip base and pre-cut holes for airflow, with an MRP of ₹790. The original Supersport insole (LNS516) uses Li-Ning's LNX Comfi cushioning, with an MRP of ₹590. Pick the 2.0 if your foot slides inside the shoe or your feet sweat a lot.
Which insole is best for badminton shoes?
Look for three things: cushioning at the heel and forefoot for lunges and landings, arch support for side-to-side movement, and a base that grips the shoe. The Li-Ning Supersport Insole 2.0 covers all three. If you want a stiffer, springier feel, a carbon plate insole is the other option.
