Skechers Cricket Turf Rubber Cricket Shoes

The Ultimate Hard-Ground Cricket Shoe

The Skechers Cricket Turf (214205ID) is a high-performance rubber stud cricket shoe engineered specifically for hard grounds, synthetic turf, and matting wickets common in India. It is the ideal choice for batters, net practice, and all-rounders looking to reduce foot fatigue during long innings.

Why Choose Skechers 214205ID Turf Shoes?

Available in stylish White-Lime and White-Blue colorways, this model combines sneaker-like comfort with professional cricketing durability. Here is why it stands out:

  • Performance Outsole: Developed with the same technology used in automotive tires, the rubber outsole provides superior abrasion resistance and grip. This makes it perfect for abrasive Indian concrete pitches or dusty grounds where standard EVA soles wear out quickly.
  • Arch Fit®: Designed using 20 years of data and 120,000 foot scans, the removable insole molds to your foot to reduce shock and increase weight dispersion—crucial for preventing heel pain (plantar fasciitis) after hours on the field.
  • Breathable & Tough: The synthetic mesh upper ensures high ventilation in humid conditions, while the reinforced toe box protects against drag damage when bowling or scrambling for a run.
  • Lightweight Agility: These shoes are significantly lighter than leather alternatives, allowing for faster sprints between the wickets.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Skechers 214205ID good for hard ground cricket?

Yes, this is arguably the best cricket shoe for hard ground in its class. The Goodyear® rubber outsole is specifically designed to resist wear on rough surfaces like concrete and dry clay, offering far better durability than standard EVA soles found in cheaper turf shoes.

What is the difference between Skechers Turf and Full Spike shoes?

The Skechers Turf (214205ID) uses rubber studs, making it versatile for matting, synthetic turf, and hard ground. Full Spike shoes (like the Skechers Elite) use metal nails and are strictly for soft, natural grass grounds to prevent slipping.

Are these shoes suitable for wide feet?

Yes. These shoes adapts to the unique shape of your foot, and the mesh upper provides a flexible fit, making them highly comfortable for players with wider feet or flat arches who often find traditional cricket shoes too narrow.

To measure your foot, place a blank piece of paper larger than your foot on the floor against the wall. Tape the paper down to the floor. Stand on the paper with your heel slightly touching the wall. Then use a pen to draw a straight line touching the outermost point of your toe.

Use your ruler or measuring tape to measure the length from the bottom of the paper to the top line that you drew.

This number is your actual foot measurement, you can add 1-2 cm and convert them to the appropriate size.
