Control That You Can Actually Feel at Impact

The Yonex Arcsaber 7 Tour Limited Edition is built around one idea — shuttle hold. More contact time means more control over where the shuttle goes, and the ARC7 Tour delivers this without sacrificing swing speed. Even balance, medium flex, HM Graphite frame and shaft. It's the racket for intermediate to advanced players who want precision over raw power.

Key Technologies

POCKETING BOOSTER + Enhanced Arcsaber Frame — A proprietary rubber-like material lines the inside of the frame, adding elasticity at the sides. Combined with a deliberately stiffer build at the top and bottom, the frame holds the shuttle on the string bed fractionally longer before releasing it — giving you better directional control on drops, clears, and cross-court placements.

T-ANCHOR — A composite material built into the T-joint that reduces torque on off-center contacts. When you don't hit the sweet spot perfectly, the frame twists less, so the shuttle still goes roughly where you aimed it.

Built-in T-Joint — Reinforced connection between frame and shaft eliminates head twist on impact, adding another layer of stability during fast exchanges.

HM Graphite Frame + Shaft — High-modulus graphite in both the frame and the shaft makes this stiffer than standard graphite at the same weight. You get a solid, connected feel on impact without a heavy racket.

Isometric Head Shape — Sweet spot enlarged by 7% over a conventional oval frame. Consistent results even when the contact point shifts during extended rallies.

Who Is This Racket For?

The ARC7 Tour suits players who rely on placement over power — cross-court drops, tight net shots, controlled clears to the back tramlines. The even balance makes it equally comfortable in singles baseline play and doubles front-court defence. Medium flex means the shaft bends enough to help you generate pace without needing a fast arm, which is why it works well for intermediate players moving toward competitive play.

If you hit with a lot of wrist and rely on deception, the extra shuttle hold from POCKETING BOOSTER will amplify that. If you're a hard-hitting rear-court smasher, the Astrox series will serve you better.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Yonex Arcsaber 7 Tour and Arcsaber 7 Pro?
The Pro uses higher-grade materials and is designed for elite competitive players. The Tour shares the same core technologies — POCKETING BOOSTER, T-ANCHOR, Enhanced Arcsaber Frame — but is tuned for intermediate to advanced players and is priced more accessibly. For most club and competitive amateur players, the Tour delivers the full Arcsaber control experience.

Is the Yonex Arcsaber 7 Tour head-heavy or head-light?
Neither — it's even balanced. This places it between the head-light Nanoflare series (speed) and the head-heavy Astrox series (steep smash power). Even balance gives you all-round versatility, handling both attacking and defensive situations without favouring one style.

What tension should I string the Arcsaber 7 Tour at?
Yonex recommends 19–27 lbs for 4U. Control-oriented players typically string between 24–26 lbs — tighter strings reduce string bed flex and sharpen placement feel. Avoid exceeding 27 lbs as this voids the Yonex warranty and can reduce the frame's natural flex that POCKETING BOOSTER is designed to amplify.

Is the Arcsaber 7 Tour good for doubles?
Yes, particularly in doubles where quick net exchanges and redirected shots matter. The T-ANCHOR and POCKETING BOOSTER combination makes it forgiving on rushed off-center contacts — common in fast doubles rallies — while the even balance allows smooth transitions between defence and attack.

How is the Arcsaber series different from Astrox and Nanoflare?
Each Yonex series has a distinct play concept. Nanoflare is built for swing speed and flat drives — head-light. Astrox is built for steep smash angles — head-heavy. Arcsaber is built around shuttle hold and placement control — even balance. The ARC7 Tour sits firmly in the control category.

If you order the Grip, then it will be shipped separately in a corrugated box. The grip will not be applied over the racket to avoid the removal of Barcode/MRP and other useful information. This also helps in understanding that the product is new and unused. Grip color will be assorted/Random, no specific color will be provided.

If you select Custom Stringing, the racket will be strung with the selected string at a maximum of 26 lbs (if the racket supports), otherwise at the maximum tension the racket supports. We don't provide the facility to string more than 26 lbs to avoid transit shock damage.

If you are looking for higher tension, then we suggest that you string it at your end.

There is NO Warranty/Replacement of the strings that break during play, whether that's your first shot or 10th game.

** Custom Stringing Rackets require 2 days extra time for shipping, and such orders can't be cancelled once placed.
