The DG frame is rated to handle higher string tension without distortion, which is why the 7 DG holds up better than the standard Astrox 7 for players who restring frequently or use stiffer strings.

The Aero+Box frame profile gives you a solid hitting feel on smashes while keeping swing speed quick enough for mid-court drives and defensive clears. Yonex specifies a 7.1% increase in smash power and a 2.3 degree steeper smash angle versus the previous generation, with a 10mm longer shaft for additional reach.

This racket suits intermediate to advanced players who play an attacking singles or rear-court doubles role and want a durable frame for high-tension stringing.
