The Halbertec 9000 Power is Li-Ning's flagship even-balance Li-Ning badminton racket built for players who want control, fast handling, and clean power on demand. The 6.6mm high-modulus slim shaft and Dynamic Optimum Frame deliver crisp shuttle feedback with the swing speed of a head-light racket and the punch of a head-heavy one.
Key Features
- Dynamic Optimum Frame: Faster swing speed without losing frame stability on hard hits.
- 6.6mm High-Modulus Slim Shaft: Sharper shuttle feedback and quicker recovery between shots.
- ACC Rifftech Frame Tech: Improved energy transfer for steeper smashes and tight drives.
- HDF Shock Absorption: Reduces shock and vibration, is easier on the elbow and wrist.
- Even Balance: Smooth transitions between defence, control, and attack in the same rally.
- Max String Tension 30 lbs: Headroom for advanced players who string at higher tensions.
- Carbon Fibre Construction: Light, stiff, and durable for high-level match play.
Built for Control-Based Power
The Halbertec 9000 Power sits in Li-Ning's Halbertec series, the brand's control-focused line used by Anders Skaarup Rasmussen, Kim Astrup Sørensen, and Bagas Maulana on the BWF World Tour.
The even-balance weight profile keeps the racket neutral in the hand. You can play flat doubles exchanges, defend smashes, and step in for an attacking clear without changing rackets.

Who Should Buy the Halbertec 9000 Power
- Singles players who need control on clears and drops without sacrificing smash power.
- Doubles players who want a fast racket for flat exchanges and quick net defence (4U recommended)
- Advanced and tournament players stringing at 26–30 lbs.
- Players upgrading from a Halbertec 8000, Yonex Astrox 88 series, or Victor Auraspeed line.
Why Choose This Racket
Most flagship rackets force a trade-off: head-heavy power or head-light speed. The Halbertec 9000 Power runs an even-balance setup with a stiff slim shaft, so the same racket handles attacking rear-court and quick front-court rotations without feeling compromised on either.
The HDF system also makes it one of the more arm-friendly stiff rackets in this price band, useful for players logging long match hours.
3U vs 4U: Which Should You Pick
- 3U (85–89g): More mass, heavier smashes, better for singles players who hit through the shuttle.
- 4U (80–84g): Faster swing, easier defence, the doubles standard.
Recommended String Setup
For the 4U: Li-Ning No.1 or Yonex BG65 at 24–26 lbs for repulsion. For the 3U at 26–28 lbs for a sharper attack.
Q1. Is the Halbertec 9000 Power good for advanced players? Yes. It is rated for advanced and professional players. The stiff 6.6mm shaft and 30 lbs of tension limit are designed for players with a full-swing technique and higher string tensions.
Q2. Should I buy the 3U or 4U Halbertec 9000 Power? Choose 3U (85–89g) for singles and heavier smashes. Choose 4U (80–84g) for doubles, faster swings, and quicker defence. The 4U configuration is the most popular.
Q3. What is the maximum string tension on the Halbertec 9000 Power? The maximum recommended string tension is 30 lbs. Most advanced players string it between 26 and 28 lbs, depending on weight and string choice.
Q4. Is the Halbertec 9000 Power head-heavy or head-light? It is even-balanced. The racket plays slightly head-light in the 4U variant due to the faster swing, but the official balance category is even.
Q5. What is the difference between the Halbertec 9000 and the 9000 Power? The 9000 Power adds a power-assist bumper and updated frame tuning over the standard 9000, giving a slightly stiffer feel and improved energy transfer on attacking shots while keeping the even-balance profile.
Q6. Which pro players use the Halbertec series? Anders Skaarup Rasmussen, Kim Astrup Sørensen, Bagas Maulana, and Daniel Marthin use Halbertec series rackets on the BWF World Tour.

If you order the Grip, then it will be shipped separately in a corrugated box. The grip will not be applied over the racket to avoid the removal of Barcode/MRP and other useful information. This also helps in understanding that the product is new and unused. Grip color will be assorted/Random, no specific color will be provided.
If you select Custom Stringing, the racket will be strung with the selected string at a maximum of 26 lbs (if the racket supports), otherwise at the maximum tension the racket supports. We don't provide the facility to string more than 26 lbs to avoid transit shock damage.
If you are looking for higher tension, then we suggest that you string it at your end.
There is NO Warranty/Replacement of the strings that break during play, whether that's your first shot or 10th game.
** Custom Stringing Rackets require 2 days extra time for shipping, and such orders can't be cancelled once placed.
